We’re recruiting for a HSE Advisor to join a well-established manufacturing business near Wakefield, where you\’ll play a critical role in strengthening safety standards, improving systems, and embedding a proactive HSE culture. The Role: As the HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation, while maintaining and developing the business\’s ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems. This is a hands-on role with full visibility across site operations, offering the opportunity to lead from the front and influence continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities of the HSE Advisor: * Maintain and develop Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems in line with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 * Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and HSE audits * Recording, investigating and mitigation of accidents and near misses * HSE training and guidance to staff at all levels * Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies where necessary What We\’re Looking For: * NEBOSH certificate or Diploma * Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment * Good working knowledge of HSE legislation, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and lead * Self-motivated, hands-on, and proactive approach Our client is looking to set up interviews immediately so please apply today if you would like to hear more
