White Label are proud to be working with a leading construction business who have the reputation of delivering quality products to their clients in their search for a Design Coordinator due to growth of business. This is a great opportunity to join a business that has a reputation for high employee retention and is very well renowned for career progression and growth. You will work in a fast-paced environment, and you will get to see and experience everything from concept to completion.
The Role:
- To ensure the effective delivery of high-quality design solutions for projects from inception to completion.
- Undertaking reviews of design, procurement and construction information to ensure compliance with project documentation, client output specifications, and statutory requirements.
- Reviewing and approving of consultant’s design and sub-contractor’s drawings to ensure coordination among various trades.
- Coordinating 3D designs across different disciplines.
- Conducting site/factory visits and reporting back to the Design Manager.
- Submitting design packs to clients, responding to client comments and coordinating responses from our design team.
- Running Design Team Meetings, tracking actions and managing Design Consultants.
- Assisting the Design Manager with their Principal Designer role in accordance with CDM 2015.
- Producing construction site setup plans in AutoCAD with support from the Project Manager.
The Person:
- Min HNC in (Architecture, Structural & Civil Engineering, Construction Management etc).
- Design background demonstrating strong technical abilities.
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD.
- Experience in RIBA Stages 4-5.
- Good understanding of Building Regulations is a MUST.
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to review and improve processes and procedures, looking for innovative and creative solutions.
Salary & Benefits:
- Up-to £50,000 (Dependent On Experience).
- 37.5 working week:
- Monday – Thursday – 8 am – 5 pm.
- Friday – 8 am – 2 pm.
- 1 Day WFH per week/4 days WFH per month.
- Bonus (Up-to 30%).
