I'm currently supporting an engineering manufacturer that are looking to bring a Contract Product Design Engineer in on an initial 6 month contract, with potential for long term contract opportunity. Following significant investment into research, development and innovation, they are looking for someone to support a growing pipeline of new product development projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Helping develop new products from concept through to manufacture
- Product design and development
- Mechanical design and CAD modelling
- Prototype development and testing
- Supporting multiple innovation projects
- Working closely with senior engineering specialists
- Mechanical Engineering background
- Product Design / Design Engineering experience
- Strong Autodesk Inventor capability
- Able to work independently and take ownership of projects
