An established UK engineering business is looking to appoint a Commercial Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of complex, high-value engineering and infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to join a long-standing specialist contractor delivering multidisciplinary programmes across design, manufacture, installation and commissioning environments.
Unlike traditional construction roles, this position sits within technically complex engineered projects where commercial decisions impact every stage of project delivery. The role would suit someone with experience across:
- Engineering

- Contract administration and commercial governance
- Managing NEC contracts, compensation events and change control
- Monthly cost reporting, forecasting and CVRs
- Procurement and subcontractor commercial management
- Applications for payment and valuation management

- Supporting project delivery teams with commercial decision making
- Risk identification and mitigation
- Final account preparation and commercial close out
