The company is looking to hire a Experienced Project Engineer for their growing design department. The role came about due to a growing and very busy order book.

Your RoleWe are looking for a project engineer who will play a vital role in the delivery of projects through concept & design, manufacture & procurement, assembly and factory testing.
As a project engineer you will be a key interface with the customer and will assist the Project Manager or manage projects with the management and co-ordination of internal teams, suppliers and sub-contractors to deliver projects on-time, within budget and in-line with agreed specifications.
We are especially interested in hearing from people who can demonstrate a track record of innovative and \βout of the box\β thinking and who know the right questions to ask in order to achieve the best possible solutions and project outcomes.
Specifically, you will:
Attending / leading meetings with clients and stakeholders
Project planning (using MS Project)
Working with suppliers and sub-contractors to specify and procure components and 3rd party equipment
Preparation of documentation including technical specifications, P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, User Requirements Specifications (URS) etc.
Writing risk assessments & method statements
Carrying out site surveys
Assisting the workshop team during the assembly and testing of equipment
About YouTo join us, you will need:
Proven experience as a Project Engineer (bespoke solutions, automotive, Nuclear, Pharmaceutical or defence background would be preferable)
Experience in working on projects from start to finish
Ability to read technical drawings
Maintain knowledge of all relevant processes and procedures to ensure appropriate compliance with any regulatory requirements
Ability to come up with creative approaches for generating new ideas and improving existing processes, products or designs
Degree qualified or a minimum HNC level with relevant industry experience is required
An understanding of design of equipment for use in hazardous areas (eg.ATEX) and for compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements including CE & UKCA would be advantageous.
