The Role: Working as part of a growing Mechanical Design Team, you’ll support the full product lifecycle—designing custom housings, fixtures, mould tools, and test jigs using SolidWorks + PDM.
Key responsibilities:
- 3D CAD modelling and 2D manufacturing drawings
- Designing mechanical components in steel, aluminium, bronze, and polymers
- Producing BOMs and work instructions
- Supporting prototype builds and getting involved in physical product testing
- Liaising with suppliers and the production team
The Person:
- A Mechanical Engineering or Product Design graduate (or equivalent qualification)
- Some experience with CAD design (university, internship or placement)
- Confident with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
- A problem-solver who’s eager to learn in a fast-paced, hands-on setting
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary from £26,000 – £30,000 depending on experience
