The Role:
As a Graduate/Junior Control Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to join an experienced team in the Software and Electrical department, working on developing and modifying machine software for bespoke machinery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for control systems and automation to build upon their academic learning with real-world, hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify PLC-based software and control systems
- Support fault-finding on electrical control circuits and software systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure machinery operates per customer specifications
- Assist with installations and provide on-site support when necessary
- Learn and maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry standards and safety protocols
Skills & Experience:
- Recent graduate or with up to 1 year of experience in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Controls, or Mechatronics)
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, and software systems
- Understanding of electrical control systems, servo, and inverter drives
- Strong communication skills with a willingness to work collaboratively
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills in a practical engineering environment
