We are recruiting on behalf of an established engineering manufacturer supplying bespoke thermal and process equipment into industrial and commercial markets. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Estimator to join their commercial and technical team in a varied role covering estimating, technical proposals, internal sales and project support. This is not a pure estimating position and would suit somebody who enjoys combining technical understanding with commercial activity and working across bespoke engineered projects.
The Role
- Reviewing customer enquiries, technical specifications and engineering drawings
- Producing quotations, estimates and technical proposals
- Material take-offs and pricing activities
- Supporting customers through enquiry to order stage
- Working closely with engineering, production and supply chain teams
- Preparing technical and commercial documentation
- Managing multiple enquiries and projects simultaneously
- Supporting technical and commercial project delivery
