White Label are excited to be recruiting exclusively for a Junior/Graduate Design Engineer for a well-established manufacturing business based in Bolton. You'll take products from first sketch through to full production, working across a mix of team projects and your own solo jobs.
The role:
- Manage the full product lifecycle: concept, design, prototyping, testing, production
- Work within a development team and independently on your own projects
- Build physical models and prototypes, and test them in the workshop
- Spot design or production issues early and engineer solid fixes
What you'll need:
- Strong 3D CAD skills (Ideally Solidworks or similar)
- MEng or Product Design Degree/Qualifications
- Nice to have: Good knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods: injection moulding, CNC, sheet metal, casting
- Nice to have: Comfortable using workshop tools to build and test models
- A curious, analytical, problem-solving mindset
- Full UK working rights - unable to offer sponsorship
