Bespoke (BIAB) Design Engineer Responsibilities

  • Turn client concepts into detailed 2D/3D designs
  • Liaise with Sales, Distributors and Customers to refine and deliver bespoke solutions
  • Specify 12 V, 230 V, and LPG systems to current standards
  • Build BOMs, estimate costs, and ensure designs are right the first time
  • Produce high‑quality manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks

Qualifications

  • SolidWorks 3D CAD and engineering drawing expertise
  • Creative thinking with a practical, hands‑on approach
  • Excellent communication and customer liaison skills
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation
  • Understanding of assemblies, furniture design, and light electrical/gas installations
