Refrigeration Service Engineer Location: Field Based Salary: £40,000 – £42,000 + Overtime + £750 On-Call Allowance + Van Are you an experienced Refrigeration Engineer looking for a field-based role working on specialist industrial refrigeration equipment? We're recruiting for a growing engineering business looking to strengthen its Service team. You'll be working on portable cold stores, blast freezers and associated refrigeration systems across customers within food manufacturing, seafood, cold storage and pharmaceutical environments. This is a great opportunity for someone from an industrial or commercial refrigeration background , although experienced transport refrigeration engineers looking to move into industrial refrigeration will also be considered. The Role Service, maintenance and PPM of refrigeration equipment Reactive breakdowns, diagnostics and fault finding Working on cold stores and blast freezing equipment Mechanical and electrical repairs Refrigerant recovery, charging and re-gassing Commissioning and decommissioning Remote monitoring and diagnostics Completing service reports and identifying follow-up works Providing technical support to customers
