We have an exciting new opportunity to join our team as a Homeless Support Worker. This role would suit someone who has a background working with mental health issues or people suffering from homelessness. You will play a vital role in helping homeless individuals regain stability and improve their quality of life.
Day to Day:
· Maintain safety within the facility, handle incidents.
· Performing safety checks and welfare checks.
· Teaching practical skills like budgeting, cooking, and hygiene.
· Ad hoc administrative tasks when required.
· Writing up case notes on residents when necessary.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in homeless support, social work, or a related field is desired.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Basic computer skills for record-keeping
· Valid Enhanced DBS for Adults and Children.
· Valid UK Driver’s License and access to a car is desirable.
