Overview
1to1 Group are recruiting for a Yard Operative for our client on the outskirts of Winchester. The role is a varied position, involving heavy lifting, assembly, dispatching orders and other ad hoc duties, with the opportunity to pick up more duties as the position progresses.
Role Details
- £14.00 per hour
- Location: Winchester (a driving license is required due to the location)
- Type: Temporary to Permanent
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 7:30am–5:00pm
Role Responsibilities
- Manual assembly of heavy structures
- Picking orders
- Counting stock and recording it accurately onto the relevant systems
- Dispatching orders
- Using a forklift to load transport
Role Requirements
- Heavy lifting (up to 25kg) will be necessary
- Experienced using a forklift, a Counterbalance license is preferred
- An understanding of stock movement and sale/ dispatch processes
- An understanding of assembly drawings and how to read them
- A valid, current driving license and access to a car is required to get to this location
