1to1 Group are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager for one of our clients in Winchester! This position is responsible for overseeing and optimising warehouse operations. This role includes managing inventory, supervising warehouse employees, and ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of products and materials.

Role Details:

  • Winchester
  • £30,000- £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Permanent
  • Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm (40 hours per week)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, and shipping.
  • Manage and organise daily picking requirements to fulfil the requirements of the production schedule.
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed.
  • Overseeing logistics of receiving, warehousing and dispatch operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance within the warehouse.
  • Consistently maintaining a high level of accuracy on all company paperwork.
  • Develop and engage a team culture, driving a strong teamwork ethic.
  • Work closely with other departments in the business to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

Role Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in a warehouse lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Self-motivated, dependable and trustworthy.
  • Forklift licence (advantageous).
