1to1 Group are recruiting for a Job Coach on a temporary basis to provide career advice to students for one of our clients. The successful candidate will have experience providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and will be helping students to develop the skills to secure work. You will also be working with employers to identify opportunities for students with learning difficulties and disabilities to undertake work experience.

Role Details

  • £15.00 per hour.
  • Sparsholt and Andover.
  • Temporary ongoing
  • Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
  • Term time only

Responsibilities

  • Identify suitable placements and match students with employers.
  • Assist students on how to interview and visits with employers.
  • Carry out regular assessments with students to embed action planning into their training and development.
  • Support learners with English, Maths, employability and tutorial sessions liaising with the course tutor to relate the sessions towards the learners’ individual placements.
  • Liaise with parents/guardians and agencies as required.
  • Work with employer to agree range of tasks and skills to be involved in placements.
  • Be responsible for Access to Work funding.
  • Maintain and develop effective communication, liaison and relationships with all staff.

Requirements

  • A full UK driving license and access to a car is required, as occasionally you will be required to drive to another site.
  • Previous experience working in education, preferably in SEN.
  • Understanding of company recruitment.
  • Experience in communication and liaison with employers.
