1to1 Group are looking for a Lead HR Advisor to support a charity based in Fareham who are making a real difference to supporting vulnerable people across the South of England.
About the role: You will be the go-to expert for managers and staff providing generalist HR advice. You will work closely with the HR Manager, to contribute to strategic people initiatives, and play an active role in ensuring HR operations run efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- To advise managers on all human resources matters.
- Employee relations – to manage complex staff relations casework, such as grievances, disciplinaries and long-term absences, liaising with their legal representatives as required, especially when there is a potential high risk and impact to the organisation.
- Responsible for managing members of the team (2) and being the senior expert under the human resources manager, within the team for day-to-day operational queries.
- Coaching – guiding managers through the organisation’s policies, practices and processes, and support on the delivery of manager’s briefings.
- To contribute and lead where necessary in ensuring the welfare and wellbeing of all staff and advise staff and managers as appropriate.
- To identify process improvements to help the team deliver human resources and wider objectives to ensure efficient and effective human resources delivery.
- Engagement with internal and external contacts and organisations, not only within the human resources field, to network, and can knowledge share and best practice.
Experience:
- Broad HR experience, and experience managing and reporting HR KPIs, metrics and insights.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Confident using different HR systems ideally and competent with IT tools.
- Highly organised.
