Due to retirement, White House Surgery is seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Medical Secretary to join our busy practice team. We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised person to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a comprehensive medical secretarial service, supporting our clinical team and ensuring the smooth administration of patient referrals and correspondence.
- Processing referrals and managing appointments
- Typing and handling clinical correspondence
- Liaising with hospitals, community services, and patients
- Managing incoming and outgoing communications
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Providing administrative support to GPs and the wider clinical team
- Handling incoming calls, inquiries, and correspondence promptly, providing clear information and assistance to patients and visitors
- Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with privacy regulations
We are a member of the North Cotswold Primary Care Network (PCN), and work closely with four neighbouring practices to deliver enhanced services and improve patient care across the local community, including First Contact Physio, Mental Health Nurse, Clinical Pharmacist, Wellbeing Coach, Womens Health Clinics, Travel clinics and more. Situated on the border of four counties, our practice benefits from a rural setting while maintaining links with surrounding towns and healthcare partners. We are a welcoming team and all members are valued and supported. Our size enables strong working relationships, flexibility and team spirit.
