We are currently recruiting a Clinical Receptionist to provide reception and administrative support to a group of physiotherapists and consultants at our Chesterfield Clinic.

The successful candidate will complement our experienced practice reception team and the role involves:
- Playing a huge part in our patient journey, providing the best level of service to our customers, face to face, over the telephone and by email.
- You will be responsible for completing a range of reception and administrative duties such as responding to emails, taking telephone calls, collating customers’ documents before appointments, ensuring customer details are up to date, chasing up customer referrals and taking payments, whilst assisting the senior team with regular administrative tasks.
- To work alongside the reception team in Chesterfield and our head office reception & administration team in Sheffield.
Hours of Work
Flexibility in our team is key and the suitable candidate will be required to be just that; all team members are expected to assist with cover of other reception hours when required, covering team absence and sickness. Due to growth at the new Chesterfield site, the hours will increase as the clinic continues to expand. The clinics are open 8am-8pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm Friday and 8am to 1pm Saturday. The current contract is for Tuesdays 9-5 (8hrs per week).
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, customer service orientated, well-organised and reliable. You should be able to work using your own initiative whilst maintaining regular updates with your team. You should have a professional outlook, empathetic telephone manner and understand the importance of patient confidentiality.
Knowledge and skills
To apply for this position candidates must have a background within reception and/or office administration and ideally experience within a medical environment; however, commitment to providing excellence in patient service is what matters to us the most and in-house training will be given. Experience using Microsoft Office packages, Excel, Word and Outlook is essential.
