White Horse Employment are pleased to be supporting a well-known Wiltshire based organisation with their search for a Communications and Content Lead! This is a really exciting opportunity for a creative individual to come in and champion the brand, whilst also supporting the wider team.
We’re looking for a confident copy writer that loves all things PR, communications and digital storytelling! You will need to be a strong proofreader with an excellent eye for detail, with the ability to create compelling content within a fast paced, fun environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing engaging content for the multiple sites, including feature articles, newsletters, press releases, speeches on behalf of the SLT team and more.
- Overseeing all PR, building excellent relationships with media outlets to ensure positive coverage.
- Ad hoc proofreading for wider team across all sites.
- Assisting wider marketing team with communications around events, social media, sales materials etc.
- Develop internal communications strategies and monitoring and reporting on campaigns.
- Supporting Marketing Assistants and stepping in for the Marketing Manager when required.
- Creating engaging video and written content to promote case studies through digital storytelling.
Key skills/experience required:
- Experience within a previous Communications or PR position.
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills, with a real passion for writing compelling copy.
- A marketing qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Creative content production skills, videography etc.
- Excellent understanding of digital tools, social media etc.
- Ability to lead a team and motivate around deadlines and KPIs.
- Willingness to visit local sites to be a key member on site.
This is a hybrid position working from home 1-2 days per week. You would be based out of the Trowbridge site but will be required to visit another local site regularly.
