Key Responsibilities Pre-Construction
- Leadprojectplanningandsupportcontractnegotiationsduringpre-contractstages.
- Overseefullprojecthandoverfromestimating,typicallyfourweeksbeforedelivery.
- Chairweeklyinternalprojectreviews(tabletops)andallocateclearprojectobjectives.
- Reviewallcontractandtenderdocumentation.
- Produceaccuratefinancialandcommercialforecasts.
- Leadprocurementandmobilisationplanning,ensuringalignmentwithtenderallowances.
- Developfullprojectplansincorporatingscope,assumptions,deliverablesandtimelines.
- Identifyopportunitiestoenhancedeliverythroughsupplychainstrategy,subcontracting,alternativesuppliersandsafer/moreefficientdeliverymethods.
- Compileproject-specificCDMandconstructiondocumentation.
- Submitinitialprojectprogrammes(typicallyNEC3/4Clause32).
- Overseesafeandcompliantsitemobilisation.
Construction Phase
- ManagedeliverytostrictSafety,Quality,TimeandCommercialstandards.
- Leadcommercialoptimisation,supplychainengagementandclientnegotiation.
- Ensureprojectscopeisdeliveredontimeandonbudget.
- Identifyandmanagecontractchangesearly,assessingimpactsonSQTC.
- SupportcommercialchangemanagementandcostestimationwiththeQSteam.
- Completemonthlyforecastingandfinancialreporting.
- Ensureaccurateinvoicingandpositivecashflow.
- Maintainstrongclientrelationshipsthroughweeklyprogressmeetings.
- Buildrobustsupplychainrelationshiptoensurequalitydelivery.
- Providevisibleleadershiptoprojectteamsalignedwithorganisationalvalues.
- Ensurecollectionofallmandatedprojectdataanddocumentation.

- Managesafeandefficientdemobilisation.
