Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of statutory reporting and annual audit delivery, ensuring the business meets all relevant accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Produce accurate Group and UK financial statements, supporting high‑quality disclosures and consistent reporting standards.
- Strengthen financial controls by developing clear policies, governance frameworks, and processes across the organisation.
- Lead initiatives to enhance financial compliance, streamline workflows, and improve the overall efficiency of reporting.
- Monitor financial risks and opportunities arising from operational, commercial, or regulatory changes, involving external advisors when needed.
- Maintain a robust three‑statement reporting structure and ensure effective alignment with wider FP&A forecasting activity.
- Oversee balance sheet integrity, including reconciliation compliance and the management of key provisions in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Support industry‑specific compliance requirements ensuring the business remains aligned with relevant standards.
Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA qualified with a practice background (audit experience advantageous).
