White Horse Employment are currently supporting a well-established organisation within the Education sector in the search for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HR professional with strong employee relations experience to take ownership of complex ER matters while working closely with senior stakeholders to support a fair, consistent and legally compliant people function.
The Role
- Managing a broad range of employee relations casework including disciplinaries, grievances, capability and investigations
- Leading formal hearings and supporting appeals processes
- Conducting sensitive investigations and producing detailed, evidence-based reports
- Providing pragmatic employment law advice and guidance to managers and senior leaders
- Supporting organisational change initiatives, restructures and consultation processes
- Assisting with policy development and promoting HR best practice across the organisation
- Identifying and mitigating employee relations risk while supporting a positive workplace culture
About You
- Proven experience managing complex ER casework
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience advising managers on sensitive employee relations matters
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- A calm, professional and solutions-focused approach
- CIPD Level 5+ or equivalent experience desirable
