We are working with a PE backed, professional services business that are looking for a commercially minded management accountant. They have had significant year on year growth and you would be joining at a time you can make real change and a meaningful impact. Through effective business partnering, the role will continually improve service levels, cost effectiveness, and add value to commercial activities undertaken.
Role:
- Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, revenue recognition, and accurate financial reporting.
- Work closely with Heads of department with budget tracking and cost control initiatives.
- Support financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Support the preparation of board pack content, providing insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Identify and implement process improvements across finance operations.
You will need:
- Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
- Demonstrate where you have added commercial value to a business.
- The successful candidate will be interested in the commercial side of the business and eager to understand and get involved in business strategy.
