White Horse is proud to be working with a fast-paced, high-growth local giant based in North Wiltshire. The opportunity will give you a chance to work with a well-known brand, a truly talented team, large datasets, and provide plenty of experience and exposure to multiple teams within the business.
This is a 6-month contract with possible scope for extension. The ideal candidate will be either immediately available or have a short notice. This role offers great flexibility with 2 days in the office and 3 from home.
Responsibilities:- Help manage a small team, being the number 2 of a 5 person team
- Reconcile the support functions balance sheet
- Monthly production of management accounts
- Present your work to stakeholders when needed
- Responsible for budget forecast process
- Identify areas of improvements and provide potential solutions
- Provide support to the wider finance team, when required
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of management accounts
- A qualified Accountant or partly qualified - either ACCA or CIMA (desirable)
- Technical accountant who understands detailed workings
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience of preparing accounting packs and working with stakeholders
