Financial Reconciliation Officer - Finance

White Horse Employment are delighted to be partnering with a well known local business based in Wells, Somerset , as they seek to appoint a Financial Controller . Working closely with the CEO and wider leadership team, you will take full responsibility for the finance function, leading a small finance team and playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and performance. This is a broad and hands-on role, ideally suited to a technically strong and commercially minded finance professional who is confident working across multiple systems and managing change. Lead, manage and develop the finance function, including oversight of a small finance team. Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations Oversee payroll, budgeting, manage cashflow forecasting and statutory audit preparation Drive financial governance, process improvement, and reporting excellence across the business A qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent) or QBE with strong technical grounding Excellent IT and Excel skills;
