What you'll be doing:
- Overseeing day to day banking transactions, including processing payments and receipts via BACS, CHAPS, and cheques.
- Handling transfers between client and office accounts, as well as supplier payments, staff expenses and company card transactions.
- Carrying out regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Checking billing information and keeping records up to date.
- Responding to finance related queries.
- Assisting with audit preparation and ensuring financial processes meet required standards.
We're looking for someone who:
- Educated to A-level standard or an equivalent qualification.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and software.
- Well developed analytical, organisational and administrative capabilities.
- Takes a structured and logical approach to tasks, with strong problem solving skills.
- Able to handle confidential information responsibly and with discretion.
- Communicates clearly, works well within a team, and maintains a friendly, approachable manner.
- Previous experience within a comparable role in a professional services environment.
