White Horse Employment are currently supporting a well-established organisation within the Education sector in the search for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident HR professional with strong employee relations experience to take ownership of complex ER matters while working closely with senior stakeholders to support a fair, consistent and legally compliant people function.

The Role

  • Managing a broad range of employee relations casework including disciplinaries, grievances, capability and investigations
  • Leading formal hearings and supporting appeals processes
  • Conducting sensitive investigations and producing detailed, evidence-based reports
  • Providing pragmatic employment law advice and guidance to managers and senior leaders
  • Supporting organisational change initiatives, restructures and consultation processes
  • Assisting with policy development and promoting HR best practice across the organisation
  • Identifying and mitigating employee relations risk while supporting a positive workplace culture

About You

  • Proven experience managing complex ER casework
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience advising managers on sensitive employee relations matters
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • A calm, professional and solutions-focused approach

Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience. Monday to Friday working pattern. Excellent benefits package including enhanced annual leave and additional staff perks. This is a 5 days onsite role as the HR Advisor needs to be on site, dealing with issues as and when they come through the door.
