We’re delighted to be partnering with a high-growth retail business based in Bristol to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner. This is a key commercial role within a fast‑paced, digitally‑led environment, where you’ll be at the heart of driving performance, supporting strategic decision‑making, and providing the commercial insight that shapes future growth. Working as part of the senior leadership team and partnering closely with internal teams and operations, you’ll combine deep financial expertise with forward‑looking business partnering.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with commercial, digital, marketing and operational teams to provide financial insight that drives trading performance and strategic decision‑making.
- Lead the FP&A agenda - including budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning - ensuring robust visibility of revenue, margin and profitability.
- Develop insightful reporting, dashboards and KPI analytics to track digital and retail performance, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
- Provide commercial analysis across pricing, product profitability, customer behaviour and investment opportunities.
- Support strategic initiatives such as channel performance optimisation, marketing ROI and digital transformation.
- Oversee month‑end performance review with finance teams, ensuring accuracy while continually improving insight and visibility.
- Present clear, impactful analysis to senior leadership, acting as a key influencer and trusted adviser.
- Drive scalable, best‑practice finance processes, supporting growth and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
- Strong experience within retail, e‑commerce or other consumer‑focused, data‑rich environments.
- Proven track record in commercial finance / finance business partnering.
- Strong FP&A capability, including planning, forecasting and scenario modelling.
- Highly analytical with the ability to translate data into meaningful commercial insight.
- Digitally minded – confident working with dashboards, analytics and performance data.
- A strong communicator able to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
