The Role
You’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial records, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and contributing valuable insight to the wider business. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly and annual financial statements (UK GAAP)
- Maintain the general ledger and perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Process staff expenses
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Monitor capital expenditure projects against approved budgets
- Support accounts payable and payroll as required
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Provide audit support and respond to information requests
- Analyse financial performance and investigate variances
- Contribute to ad hoc finance projects and continuous improvement
