White Horse are working with a well-established professional services business to recruit a Credit Controller to join their finance team in Bath. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of client payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the wider finance team to manage cash flow effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and follow credit control procedures to ensure payments are collected in line with agreed terms
- Liaise with internal teams to obtain necessary information for client correspondence and debt recovery
- Issue statements of accounts and manage regular contact with clients to recover outstanding invoices
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and client activity
- Respond to client queries professionally, escalating where necessary
- Work collaboratively with the wider finance team and provide support where required
- Carry out other ad hoc duties as directed by the senior credit team

- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally with some exposure to credit control
