Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Project Co-ordinator/Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of strands of work across their Level 3 Programmes directorate, with a particular focus on the Advanced Maths Support Programme (AMSP).
You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the charity’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project managers and strand leads with project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate project activities and keep stakeholders informed of deadlines and deliverables.
- Track progress, prepare status reports, and monitor KPIs.
- Support internal and external communications, including reports for trustees, funders, and leadership.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, schedules, and plans.
- Organise meetings, workshops, and presentations, ensuring smooth operational support.

Person Specification
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or similar.
- 1–3 years’ experience in project coordination or a similar administrative/support role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, Jira).
- Strong organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable:
- Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, APM PFQ).
- Experience in education or working with schools/colleges.
- Familiarity with digital business tools such as CRM or Power BI.
