A large non-food retailer is now looking for a Senior General Manager. Reporting to the Head of Logistics, the General Manager will have 5 years of experience with an FMCG background. Warehouse and transport experience is essential, and a CPC is required.
The role involves the collection and delivery provision of approximately 500,000 parcels per day, six days per week. Ensure performance information on costs and resource utilization is fully assessed against budgets/forecasts, correctly interpreted, and effective action taken to reduce costs, enhance value, and meet business objectives.
Lead and motivate teams through business improvement and cultural change. Ensure robust and effective industrial relations are in place to facilitate positive and successful change.
