As a Product Development Manager in contract logistics, you will drive business growth through the development and deployment of an end-to-end portfolio of commerce services, increasing GP by introducing new customers and enhancing offerings to existing customers. You will act as an evangelist within the BD and Account Management community for E-commerce solutions and services, driving adoption and growth while providing subject matter expertise to support awareness and sales to new and existing customers. This involves leveraging and coordinating the full range of solutions to meet the needs of our UK-based E-commerce customers.
Your responsibilities will include leading significant, complex, and strategic product sales, as well as developing product sales support materials (pre-sales, collateral, cost models, solution templates, case studies, and competitive positioning) to drive efficiency and effectiveness in business development efforts. Additionally, you will lead product channel development involving BD teams, account management, operations, and external partners, acting as a coach to ensure the transfer of skills from retail into cross-regional teams to accelerate the adoption of E-commerce best practices across all sectors.
You will be accountable for product customer satisfaction, as measured through POR, NPS, and net growth, and will deliver on product growth targets through effective pipeline development and management. Your role will also involve driving the product management process (including specification, roadmap, and continuous improvement) to deliver enhancements to products, sustain competitive advantage, and enhance market share. Finally, you will lead product development, innovation, and future investment planning, reporting to the Product Board.
