A large fashion retailer is now looking for a General Manager. Responsible for both automated and manual warehouse operations at Swindon. This is an in-house facility with an annual throughput of 45 million pieces and an operational budget of £19m. Warehouse footprint of 350,000 sq. ft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Change Process throughout the introduction of leading edge PTL (pick to light) system.
- Redefine senior management operational working practices to enable greater flexibility.
- Introduce new site practices between management and union which lead to major improvements in on-site relationships and reduction of IR issues.
