The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 £ per year.
Reporting to the Managing Director, partner with the Divisional Managing Director – Facilities Services (MD), providing assurance that all financial and commercial matters are properly controlled in line with a £160 Million turnover business.
The knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience relevant to the position are:
- Professionally qualified accountant or commercial manager (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, RICS, CIOB)
- Extensive experience working in a Business Services environment.
- Strength of character, a strong demeanour and ability to challenge leadership when necessary in the best interest of the business.
- Ability to gain respect from and adeptly communicate confidently with professional consultants, clients and legal teams.
- Strong understanding of the UK market in terms of current and future opportunities. Ideally have a network of contacts that can be utilised from a business development perspective to build on such opportunities.
- Demonstrable track record of progression within a construction, engineering or facilities related organisation.

Aims and Objectives:
- To provide leadership to the Facilities Services Commercial / Financial team.
- To provide accurate financial information on a timely basis as required.
- To be a champion for the proactive management of risk within the Division.
- To drive improvements in the management of cash within the business.
- To develop and monitor business controls to highlight deviations from expected operational performance, and to work with the MD to correct.
- To ensure that contracts are properly administered throughout their operation.
