Under direct supervision maintains, repairs, and installs plant equipment, machinery, and related facilities; maintains a variety of records; participates in special projects; and performs a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility. To ensure the safe and continuous operations of facilities through preventive and predictive maintenance as well as in unexpected situations at White Energy.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties
- Receive daily tasks from Maintenance Manager
- Walk through plant and check equipment to detect possible malfunctions or problems with production equipment
- Replacement or repair of rotating equipment
- Replacement or repair of conveyor systems
- Perform preventative maintenance to equipment as instructed by Maintenance Coordinator
- Maintain good housekeeping in and around the plant
- Conduct inspections of equipment, tanks, vessels, and boilers
- Stock parts and organize warehouse
- Attend monthly safety meetings
- Replace light bulbs as needed
- Change belts on equipment as needed
- Monitor equipment
- Selecting appropriate tools and equipment
- Performing routine maintenance
- Additional duties, as assigned
Education
High school diploma or GED
Qualifications / Knowledge
Minimum one‑year mechanical or electrical experience desired
Skills / Abilities
- Must respond to overtime and call outs.
- Must commit to working safely and adhere to company safety rules including wearing a hard hat, safety footwear, protective eye wear, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to be respirator qualified (Complete a pulmonary Function test)
- Must take baseline audiogram.
- Perform troubleshooting on mechanical and/or electrical equipment
- Work and cooperate with all members of White Energy in a professional and courteous manner.
- Instrumentation repairs and installation
- Motor Control Center (MCC) preventative maintenance
- E&I experience preferred

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts.
- The employee is required to sit, stand, walk, climb and bend.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
- Specific hearing abilities are required.
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Hardhat and protective eyewear required within and around processing facilities.
- Hearing protection required in areas where levels exceed 85 db.
- Uniform provided by White Energy.
- Steel toe leather boots.
- Additional PPE is required when handling hazardous chemicals and in certain areas of the facilities.
- Must be able to speak and listen clearly.
- Fine visual acuity to read for accuracy.
