Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10.00 am to 6.00 pm at White Cube Bermondsey, London

Salary: £28,000 – £33,000 p/a

The role:
White Cube is looking for a Digital Coordinator to join the Digital and Audiences team. The Digital Coordinator will assist with content published on White Cube’s website and help produce client-facing digital sales materials, including online presentations for art fairs and sales videos. In addition, the Digital Coordinator will support White Cube Marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media and email.
The Digital Coordinator will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and two Digital Editors (dotted reporting line), collaborate with the wider Digital and Audiences team, and engage with other departments, such as Communications, Sales, Fairs, Curatorial, Editorial, and Photography.
The position is within a growing team managing the gallery’s expanding web and e-commerce platforms to enhance brand visibility and drive consistent growth through strategic and innovative digital strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Website content:
    • Build Art Fair presentations online, working in collaboration with Art Fairs teams
    • Assist with managing and tracking ecommerce inventory on the White Cube website in line with gallery programming
    • Overall website maintenance in line with the gallery’s programming and artist news
  2. 3rd Party Platforms:
    • Collate and submit content related to digital selling materials in time with release dates and Art Fair deadlines
    • Upload all required content to sales platforms (Frieze.com, artbasel.com, etc.) consistently and in line with the house style guidelines
    • Assist in developing strategies for driving traffic from third party platforms to the White Cube website
  3. Digital Marketing:
    • Support building and scheduling email campaigns following specific commercial strategies and goals
    • Lining-up digital marketing campaigns to support commercial strategies on Facebook Ad Manager / Google Ad Manager
  4. Reporting:
    • Assist with creating and maintaining monthly reports on Art Fair online presentations performance and on the usage and engagement of other digital selling tools
  5. General:
    • Prepare Photoshop mock-ups for the sales department
    • Create artwork videos using After Effects to support the sales team
    • Assist with checking and proofing subtitles on videos
    • Make continual suggestions for improvement to digital selling materials
    • Assist with the creation and scheduling of digital screen assets across the gallery’s locations

Technical skills:
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop

• Mailchimp or other email marketing platforms
• Google Ad Manager (desirable)
• Facebook Ad Manager (desirable)

The ideal candidate has:
• A passion for working with contemporary artists and a curiosity about, or commercial understanding of, the art market
• An interest in learning to use new online platforms and content management systems
• Experience or exposure to e-commerce processes
• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent eye for detail and proofreading skills
• Ability to keep calm under pressure and prioritise conflicting deadlines across several projects and stakeholders
