About the Role

We currently have 20 hours per week available for this position. However, we’re open to discussion-whether you’re looking for fewer hours or a specific working pattern, we’d love to hear from you.

Meet the Team

Our current Balby team includes:

  • 4 experienced vets with a wide range of special interests
  • 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, holding certificates in Anaesthesia, ECC, Behaviour, and Physiotherapy
  • 1 SVN and 1 VCA
  • A supportive Clinical Lead Nurse and Head Nurse, passionate about high-quality care and positive culture
  • A warm, efficient front-of-house team that keeps everything running smoothly

We’re a training practice for SVNs, with a strong focus on teaching and mentoring. While we take our work seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously-team wellbeing is a big priority. From crafts in consults to BB gun target practice in the car park, we believe fun and wellbeing go hand in hand.

Our Facilities

We are proud of our well-equipped and modern practice, designed to support a wide range of clinical cases. Our facilities include a fully equipped surgical suite, a dedicated dental suite complete with dental x-ray, and both digital x-ray and high-quality ultrasound capabilities. We also have an in-house laboratory and an HT Vista mass scanner for efficient diagnostics. The practice features four consult rooms, a dual-station prep area, and a dedicated isolation room. As a cat-friendly clinic, we offer a separate waiting area for feline patients to reduce stress. Conveniently located just five minutes from the A1, we also provide on-site parking and are within easy reach of Doncaster and Sheffield-perfect for unwinding after a busy shift.
