Salary up to £65,000 DOE, plus relocation allowance up to £5,000.
We are looking for a full‑time Veterinary Surgeon to work across our two sites: White Cross Vets St Helens and White Cross Vets Widnes. While experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with the skills and knowledge that can enhance our team.
The team of 8 experienced vets includes certificate holders in medicine, surgery, imaging, GP, and ophthalmology. Nursing teams hold certificates in behaviour, anaesthesia, surgery, and consulting. We enjoy collaborative case discussion, in‑house training, and team wellbeing events.
Both well‑equipped practices feature new ultrasound machines, DR x‑ray, IM3 dental processor, Tonopen, slit lamp, and in‑house lab machines.
Normal working week: 40 hours spread over four days. Share Saturday mornings (currently 1 in 4). Time given in lieu during the week. Ideal candidate works two set days a week at each clinic to ensure continuity for cases and clients. Set operating and consulting days vary with personal preference and skills.
