White Cross Rubber is a specilaised manufacturer of rubber sheeting and rubber coated textiles supplying high performance industries around the world, such as Formula 1 and Defence. Our comprehensive manufacturing plant houses a wide range of calenders, coating lines, vulcanizing facilities as well as ancillary machinery.
Successful candidates will join our friendly team on *£12.36/hour* and be entered on a bespoke training plan. Pay increments are available to all as skills are acquired with the most ambitious and skilled progressing to primary machine control at *£15.45/hour.*
A can-do attitude as well as a willingness to perform each and every task to the highest standards is essential. The role will suit candidates looking to *develop and build their career* within a progressive business.
*Qualifications:*
* Previous experience of working within a manufacturing environment is essential.
* Knowledge of machinery, operating procedures and quality control processes.
* Understand Health and Safety standards requirements and can work methodically with attention to detail.
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to follow instructions and defined procedures.
* The ability to interpret manufacturing instructions.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Able to work flexibly as part of a team and adaptable approach to changes in priority.
* Educational qualifications are desirable but not essential
*Benefits:*
*4 day week*, Mon-Thurs 7.00 - 5.30 (39 hours)
*Minimum annual salary of £25,066 to £31,332.*
Opportunity for over-time paid at time and a half.

Two-week summer shutdown (last week in July, the first week in August)
188 hours holiday allowance
* 78 hours for the Summer shut down
* 19.5 hours for Christmas
* It leaves you with 90.5 hours floating.
