Job Title: Gummy Product Developer
Location: Kent, UK
Reporting to: NPD Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end development of fortified gummies, from concept to launch.
Formulate recipes for vegan, sugar-free, and other specialized gummies, ensuring optimal taste, texture, and efficacy.
Integrate functional ingredients such as vitamins, minerals, and plant-based compounds to create effective and market-leading products.
Research & Innovation:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements in gummy manufacturing technology, and consumer preferences.
Experiment with natural flavorings, colors, and alternative sweeteners to enhance product appeal.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Conduct trials to optimize formulations, shelf life, and stability.
Ensure all products meet regulatory standards, including vegan certifications and compliance with sugar-free labelling.
Collaboration & Coordination:
Work alongside the production team to scale formulations for manufacturing and troubleshoot where necessary
Working within the NPD team and alongside the Sales team to promptly respond to customer briefs by developing new concept and like for like samples
Coordinate with suppliers to source high-quality, sustainable, and cost-effective ingredients.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain detailed records of formulations, trials, and production processes. Ensure all products comply with relevant food safety and nutritional regulations.
Qualifications/Education: A degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field.
