At White & Case, we will support you, give you challenging responsibilities, and welcome you as an integral member of our team from day one. We are seeking a Recruitment Advisor to join our friendly and high-performing Recruitment team, part of our wider People/HR department. You will report to and work closely with the Recruitment Manager, who is responsible for Business Services Recruitment based in our London office.
Candidates for this role should have a strong recruiting background, having worked in-house or at an agency previously, including highly developed organisational and stakeholder management skills, as well as excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Experienced Hiring Recruitment Manager on London Business Services Recruitment, owning some end-to-end recruitment processes.
- Take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle for junior roles across our departments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies, supporting hiring managers in recruitment best practices.
- Actively promote broad sourcing strategies, including employee referrals, external advertising and the use of preferred recruitment agencies.
- Deploy, and serve as a champion for global recruitment systems (Taleo/ServiceNow/Workday), ensuring best practices and effective use.
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships and increase their value to the recruitment process.
- Source, screen and shortlist high-quality candidates through a variety of direct sourcing activities, including social media, employee referrals and headhunting using tools such as LinkedIn.
- Keep our application tracking system and all recruitment trackers up to date.
- Organise and, where appropriate, lead agency briefings for active recruitment roles.
- Conduct screening interviews with potential candidates to assess fit and qualifications (suitability).
- Act as a brand ambassador for the Firm, ensuring representation aligns with Firm values and best practices.
- Produce recruitment reports and analytics on ongoing recruitment efforts and processes.
- Encourage and implement recruitment best practices; participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Manage all recruitment-related invoicing for London business services roles.
- Collaborate with the shared services team, who handles interview scheduling, ensuring smooth coordination.
- Work closely with the onboarding team to ensure a seamless transition from offer acceptance to day one at the Firm.
- Mentor and share recruitment best practices with colleagues.
- Emphasise candidate experience, including collecting and acting on candidate and stakeholder feedback.
- Communicate proactively and handle challenging conversations effectively.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and creative problem-solving in recruitment decisions.
- Innovative mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes for the benefit of candidates and the Firm.
- Experience in an agency or in-house recruitment team. Exposure within professional services is preferred but not essential.
- A creative approach to candidate sourcing, with experience in using direct recruitment tools.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to build both internal and external relationships at all seniority levels.
- Excellent candidate management skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities, often of an urgent nature.
- Strong attention to detail, taking pride in your work.

Location & ReportingThis is a London-based role, Tuesday to Thursday. Our standard office hours are 09.30 - 18.00. This role reports to the EMEA Lateral Recruitment Manager.
