Revenue Manager

Our Finance team is responsible for ensuring accurate financial operations and plays a crucial role in managing the Firm’s financial health. Our team handles a wide range of financial activities including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, partner compensation, payroll, treasury and cash flow management to support the Firm’s strategic goals. We are responsible for inventory management including billing and collections, and analysis of client, matter and timekeeper profitability. We oversee statutory accounting and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. The Finance team also prepares financial statements, reports and analysis to provide insights into the Firm’s financial performance. We work closely with other functions to monitor expenses, optimize financial processes and implement cost‑saving initiatives. Through meticulous financial management and strategic planning, the Finance team ensures the Firm’s financial stability and supports its growth objectives.

The Manager, Core Finance plays an important role in supporting the strategic objectives. With an operational and tactical focus, this role contributes to strategic decision making. In-depth specialist advice and counsel will be provided to the business, utilising comprehensive knowledge of own discipline to address complex issues and challenges, thus enabling business leaders to make effective decisions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Utilises comprehensive knowledge of Core Finance to address complex issues and challenges without clear precedent
• Provides in‑depth specialist advice to the business on Core Finance topics and policies, such as credit management, payment terms, and cash flow optimisation
• May lead as a project manager, providing technical knowledge and specialised expertise in Core Finance disciplines to help enact change and implement finance‑related initiatives
• Serves as an escalated point of contact within the team, taking on complex Core Finance queries and cases, and providing insights and recommendations to resolve issues fairly and efficiently
• Collaborates with teams across the business to successfully implement Core Finance programmes and initiatives, adhering to the standard of operational excellence within the team
• Provides support in addressing and resolving complex issues relating to Core Finance Processing, Payroll or Partner Compensation
• Managers at this level will lead one or more teams of supervisors and/or professionals and coordinators, managing operations within a designated area or department
• Individual contributors at this level will lead projects within a broader initiative, providing technical guidance and setting priorities for the team as well as reviewing the work of others
• Engaging in operational and tactical activities, contributing to and supporting decision‑making within the team/Sub‑Function
• Subject matter expert, possessing advanced and specialised expertise in the discipline, including methodologies, processes and able to address atypical issues within own field
• Managing small professional and/or defined delivery teams across regional and global offices, impacting business primarily through professional or technical contributions to an area of specialty
• Ability to think critically and analytically, leveraging data and insights to inform decision‑making and drive continuous improvement
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at various levels of the Firm
• Bachelor\’s degree or equivalent through experience/relevant certifications where appropriate to the discipline
