Our Practice Solutions team leads the Firm’s innovation initiatives, supporting our lawyers in client delivery excellence. The team has deep expertise in working with established and emerging technologies, data analytics and data science, knowledge solutions and process re-engineering. The Practice Solutions team works with our lawyers to identify innovative solutions to support our clients. Practice Solutions is White & Case's specialist team focused on leveraging AI, legal technology, and data to enhance legal service delivery, led by Chief Innovation Officer Isabel Parker. The team integrates expertise in technology, data science, research, market intelligence, process excellence, and change management to build practice-relevant solutions. Within Practice Solutions sits the Practice Technology Transactions sub‑function, which drives technology‑enabled transformation across transactional practice areas, offering support for AI‑enabled due diligence and contract review, document automation and workflow optimisation, transaction and closing management, and cross‑party collaboration solutions.
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Practice Technology Analyst to join our London office. As a Practice Technology Analyst, you will be an integral part of our firm's practice technology team, responsible for supporting the development and implementation of technology solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal practice. The Practice Technology Analyst will report to the Senior Manager for Practice Technology leading Transactional tech for the firm.
This position will also oversee, coordinate and track project progress and workflow during the entire lifecycle of the matter; designing solutions and workflows; working with vendors and coordinating complex projects; drafting project proposals and providing status reports; providing end user support and customer service; troubleshooting issues as they arise. This is a technical role, requiring familiarity with day-to-day operations and use of practice-facing legal technology including document automation, Transactional AI, and matter management.
Also necessary are strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines, effectively manage multiple responsibilities, and meet budget and deadline demands. The role will suit you if you have an interest in, and be enthusiastic to adopt, new technologies in the legal sector and be aware of the emerging technologies and trends in the market. Experience in a law firm, Legal Tech vendor or Professional Services would be advantageous.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, roll‑out and adoption phases of transactional practice technologies
- Coordinate and collaborate with all other business services teams including the Firm's technical staff and procurement to ensure that practice solutions are appropriately integrated with Firm systems, processes and data
- Assist with testing new technology and coordinating feedback for project teams and vendors
- Document and promote best practices in using AI‑enabled and automation technologies by the practice teams
- Support the use of legal technology in specific transactional client matters and interact with matter teams, including Partners, Associates, Professional Support Lawyers and Legal Assistants to capture project scope and priorities
- Working with deal teams to plan and execute the application of legal tech on their matters
- Working with our solution providers to develop and deliver offerings
- Overseeing each project and ensuring quality and success through actions
- Consulting with Matter teams regarding best practices in using legal tech
- Preparing recommendations, budgets, and project plans
- Assist attorneys in preparing for client IT interviews and create questionnaires
- Initiating, negotiating, overseeing, and coordinating vendor work
- Maintaining detailed familiarity with vendor platforms and providing support to matter teams utilizing those platforms
- Ability to travel domestic and internationally to support matters
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required; technical or legal degree preferred
- Knowledge of Legal Tech applications preferred (Can include: Legora, Legatics, collaboration technology, and other AI platforms)
- Experience in change management in large law firms a plus
- Experience training users on firm applications a plus
- Knowledge of working processes for M&A, Capital Markets and Banking Practices a plus
- Able to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with high professionalism and client service orientation
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with legal professionals at all levels, clients and vendors
- Able to manage time and resources to meet or exceed established service level agreements

Location and Reporting
This role is based in London, and reports to the Senior Manager, Practice Technology. This is a hybrid in-office/remote role based in our London office, with 4 days in the office and standard hours of 9:30 – 18:00.
