Our Business Development & Marketing team plays a critical role in enhancing the Firm’s reputation, expanding its client base and driving revenue growth. This team develops and implements strategic marketing plans to promote the Firm’s legal services, leveraging digital and traditional marketing channels to reach target audiences. They conduct market research to identify industry trends and client needs, positioning the Firm competitively within the legal marketplace. The team also manages client relationships, orchestrates business development initiatives, and seeks opportunities for partnerships and networking. Through compelling content creation, event planning and public relations efforts, they ensure that the Firm maintains a strong market presence and continues to attract and retain clients.

The Advisor, Marketing provides essential support in aiding stakeholders in decision making related to marketing matters. The Advisor, Marketing role encompasses both the strategic and operational aspects of planning, executing, and evaluating marketing efforts. This role is tasked with the responsibility of providing professional support and advice to the business and the marketing team on a tactical level. This entails the acquisition and analysis of market intelligence data, the evaluation of marketing performance metrics, and the coordination of marketing activities aligned with the Firm's objectives.

Please note the standard office hours for this role are 9:30 - 18:00, with a requirement for 4 days in the office per week.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Engages in fact-finding exercises and detailed data analysis to enable informed decision making, offering pragmatic and innovative solutions.
  • Supports the development and implementation of various marketing strategies, leveraging sound judgement based on gathered data from multiple sources.
  • Collaborates closely with the broader team, offering comprehensive specialist advice in the Creative Services, Events and Video Production areas to drive marketing efforts forward.
  • Liaises with various internal departments and external partners, ensuring that relevant marketing strategies are well communicated and delivered effectively.
  • Contributes to marketing project management efforts, coordinating timelines and resources to ensure successful initiative rollout.
  • Monitors and analyses marketing performance metrics across multiple channels to support continuous improvement and displaying an adept application of marketing metrics analysis.
  • Assists with, and in some cases leads, the production and execution of marketing events and creative services, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Remains up-to-date on industry developments and innovations, leveraging insights to inform strategic and operational marketing decisions.
  • May coordinate the work of junior team members and more administrative roles.
  • Ability to make judgments based on knowledge gained through previous experience.
  • Ability to work fairly independently, escalating complex issues for guidance and support.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the range of processes, procedures and systems within own discipline.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and evaluate information from multiple sources.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate work, provide guidance within the team, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; likely working towards relevant professional certification/qualification where appropriate to the discipline.

Reporting To Global Director of Events. Standard Office Hours: Our standard office hours are 09:30-18:00, with a current requirement for 3 days in the office per week.
