A Rental Yard Associate at White Cap…

  • Removes dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
  • Ensures all rental equipment is in good, useable condition before it goes out to the customer.
  • Inspects all rental equipment for damage.
  • Reports any damage according to established procedure.
  • Oils and lubricates all tools, equipment and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
  • Prepares and stages rental orders to go out for delivery.
  • Follows company safety policy and procedures.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment.
  • Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Remove dirt and debris from rental equipment and area using provided tools and cleaning equipment.
  • Inspect equipment for damage and ensure good, useable condition before rental.
  • Prepare and stage rental orders for delivery.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Generally 0-2 years of experience.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; stand for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of machines, hand and power tools; ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Bilingual-Spanish is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work outdoors.
  • Heavy lifting up to 75 pounds.
  • Knowledge of construction and industrial products (reiterated).
  • Passion for safety and accuracy in handling equipment.
