The Role
This is a strategic, hands-on role for someone who combines analytical thinking with a deep understanding of user behaviour and conversion optimisation.
The successful candidate will lead website strategy from discovery through launch and ongoing optimisation, ensuring every website is built around business goals, customer journeys, and measurable performance.
Working closely with design, copywriting, and development teams, they will leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate research, wireframing, and planning while maintaining a strong focus on user experience, SEO, and conversion performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, competitor research, and analytics reviews.
- Develop website strategies, information architecture, sitemaps, content plans, and conversion goals.
- Create AI-assisted wireframes and user journeys aligned with business objectives.
- Define measurement frameworks using GA4, GTM, and key performance indicators.
- Drive conversion rate optimisation through testing, analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Incorporate SEO best practices into site architecture and content strategy.
- Manage website projects through planning, execution, and launch while coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders and maintain project alignment with business goals.
Requirements
- 8+ years of website strategy experience, ideally within a digital agency.
- Proven success improving website performance and conversion rates.
- Strong knowledge of UX, information architecture, content strategy, and CRO.
- Experience using AI tools to streamline strategy, research, and wireframing. Utilizing AI in your daily workflows.
- Advanced knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, SEO, and analytics.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and content specialists.
