White Arkitekter has an opportunity for a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its office in London.
About White Arkitekter
White Arkitekter, founded in 1951 in Gothenburg, is one of Scandinavia’s leading architectural practices with around 600 employees. The London studio, established in 2015, focuses on sustainable urban masterplans, affordable housing, healthcare and cultural buildings, blending Scandinavian expertise with UK needs, focusing on enabling sustainable life through intelligent, holistic design. In 2023 we won Dezeen Awards “Architect of the year.” We were awarded for being “a leading voice in the drive towards more sustainable buildings.”
The London studio has been operating for ten years and in that time we have been working with sustainable urban design, residential design, healthcare design, wellbeing, landscape and placemaking.
We are now seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Part 2 architectural assistant to join our growing studio. Recently qualified part 3 will also be considered.
To be successful in this position we need you to be a good communicator with a friendly, approachable personality and a positive multi-tasking attitude.
Requirements
- minimum one year experience in practice
- working knowledge and experience of UK-based residential or healthcare design at RIBA Stages 1 to 4, including planning applications
- experience of Revit in practice is essential
- skills in Rhino and visualisation
- excellent design skills
- friendly and creative attitude and flexible approach
- eligible to work in the UK
- confident, with good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
