Role: Senior Structural Engineer
Location: Bristol
Whitby Wood is looking for a senior structural engineer who is passionate about sustainability, and keen to work in a collaborative environment. We have a position available in our Bristol office. This is a terrific opportunity to join a thriving practice — and contribute to overall business development through involvement in our internal development groups.
You will need to be a dab hand with a pencil, and understand how to get your sketches built. You will also need to be able to command the respect of colleagues and clients, and experienced in successfully leading teams across a number of projects. This capability should be matched by excellent interpersonal skills, and a readiness to represent us at meetings with clients and architects.

— 6-8 years’ experience, with minimum one years’ experience at an established engineering practice in the UK
— Chartered with ICE or IStructE
— Strong interest in architecture and the relationship between structural engineering and architectural design
