Salary: £36,500 – £41,250

Overview

As Kitchen Manager for Premier Inn, you will be responsible for our Thyme Restaurant, ensuring the daily success and smooth running of the restaurant. Your role is to create a winning team and deliver excellent service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the Hotel Manager in recruiting, inducting, and onboarding new Kitchen team members.
  2. Demonstrate leadership with a hands-on approach and effective communication, motivating your team through pre-shift briefs.
  3. Manage stock control and food margins.
  4. Oversee NSF, EHO, and Health and Safety audits to high standards.
  5. Ensure compliance with brand standards and specifications.
  6. Drive high performance through team development and regular one-to-ones.
  7. Maintain attention to detail and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  8. Show passion for the brand by ensuring your team is knowledgeable and confident.

Support and Development

  • Work alongside a Restaurant General Manager trained to support the kitchen operations.
  • Receive full induction and ongoing training.
  • Operate within a labour model that ensures proper management coverage.
  • Access training and development programs.
  • Have influence over kitchen operations and management of KPIs.
